Training Details
- What: In-person, interactive three-hour course introducing project and project management fundamentals.
- Who: Open to all A&F employees interested in learning the basics of project management
- When: July 31, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Where: Location details to be shared when people register
- Led by: Experienced Project Managers from the IT PMO
Objectives
- Define basic project management concepts
- Describe the role and responsibilities of a project manager
- Identify project stakeholders
- Outline the phases of the project life cycle
- Explain the importance of clear project scope
- Recognize key components of a project charter
- Understand the steps to develop a high-level project work plan
- Understand the importance of managing project changes
- Describe the steps to close a project
- Become familiar with the PMO available resources
