Web Office
The Web Office provides assistance to Sonoma State University faculty, staff, students, and authorized sponsored account holders in use of supported campus web servers. The Web Office maintains much of the IT website, and with Strategic Communications (Division of Advancement) shares responsibility for maintaining the University's home page and top-level pages.
The Web Office is responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of the University's website publishing platform, Drupal; The Web Office works with the Strategic Communications and the University Web Team to develop and maintain the University's Web Standards. The Web Office also provides Web development and production services and assistance to SSU's divisions, schools and departments.
Hours & Location
The Web team is housed in a restricted area of the IT department in the Schulz Information Center. Hours of operation are M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Please submit a Drupal/Website ticket and select "General Question" if you wish to make an in-person appointment.
Frequently Asked Questions
The IT Help Desk can assist with most web-related matters: connecting to the web server, general service requests, and basic troubleshooting. For these, call the IT Help Desk, drop by their desk in the Seawolf Service Center, or Report an Issue.
For Drupal/Website issues or questions, please submit a Drupal/Website ticket. Request examples include getting a Drupal Account, requesting a new website, requesting new features for an existing site, or reporting a general problem or request. You can also request advice on different approaches to your project, what software will be most helpful and how to organize your site.
