Evan Ferguson

Evan has been an IT manager at Sonoma State University since 2009. He oversees the Identity Management & Security (IDMS), Networking Services (NS), and Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) departments within IT. His IDMS team helps keep accounts and data highly available and secure.  His NS and EIS teams provide backend support for the campus' wired and wireless networks, firewalls, on premises and cloud presence, and telecommunication infrastructure.

Evan is a proud graduate of SSU, holding a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He is uncompromisingly serious, and uses his free time to maintain an edible garden, play boardgames (often without ruining friendships), and enjoy every racquet sport he can get his hands on. He is supported by his partner who is beloved SSU faculty and their two well-fed cats.
