IT Certification is required prior to purchase to ensure that equipment and software meets SSU and CSU standards for computing and are compatible in Sonoma State's networked computing environment. IT Certification is required regardless if the purchasing department is requesting support from IT for that purchase. Departments are required to send a completed IT Certification and related quotes to Contracts & Procurement regardless of what funds are being used for the purchase.
