Todd Wright

What I do at SSU

Todd is part of the Network team. He handles a lot of the network (and VoIP phone) moves, adds and change tickets that come in through the Help Desk. He also configures and installs network switches in new buildings or adds them to existing buildings as growth requires.

Work Experience

Todd started his career in I.T. at Fireman’s Fund Insurance in Irvine, CA in 1999 as a LAN Systems Administrator (LSA) working on everything from imaging desktops and laptops to connecting customer phone lines and voice mail. He started at Sonoma State in 2005 as a telecom analyst primarily responsible for the phone system and customer phone and voice mail needs. He moved over to the network side in 2018.

Non-Working

In his off-time Todd enjoys spending time in his backyard creating up-cycled art with his wife. Some of his pieces include a colorful surfboard, a “blinged out” pink trombone and a satellite dish turned into a peace sign.
